Amaliehaven

Oh gee, what a day.

Sightseeing in the morning - a gentle meander as far as Amalienborg and back. I’d forgotten how beautiful the city is.

Then after a couple of hours with my feet up, an early dinner with Mariel before heading for the ice hockey.

It turned out to be a Canada v Switzerland semifinal after Switzerland surprised Finland in the quarters. In terms of world rankings, that’s No 1 v No 8, so Canada was hot favourite. Switzerland won 3-2. A marvelous game and a fantastic occasion.

I think most neutrals ended up shouting for the underdogs.

I have a choice of about 20 shots to choose for a Blip.

The front runner was always going to be Mr Cool in his hammock at Amaliehaven. The Extras are the tranquil back court of my apartment and locals doing brunch on Læderstræde.
