Burning of the Bear

This evening the next village along burned the bear on the hillside. A wee jaunt to watch the event with my blip pal Susan1510 (her camera is far superior to my old phone so, go and take a look at her shot for a clearer image). It was a lovely occasion and I spent some time talking to a kind old lady who was enjoying the warm evening air in her garden. She was telling me about her plants and the history of the burning bear. I love small communities!
