When you've earned the right to stay sitting before your encore the obvious answer is clearly to hide behind your instrument.

What an amazing concert. I'm so glad my mum took me along to see these wonderful artists tonight. Beautiful voices, spectacular instrumentals, great folktales and whimsical anecdotes dotted in between. They even came out at the interval to chat and sign CDs. What a lovely quintet of gentlemen! I'm now a Fairport fan!
