Bumble

As the summer arrives and fall appears... I'm sure to have bored you with thousands hundreds too many bees.

It was rainy and dark today, not the best (insect macro) photography type of weather.  But when I spotted this big bumble bee on my violas, I grabbed my camera (changed the lens and grabbed a raincoat).  He was still moving from flower to flower, so I did my best to capture his image.

I should have called my journal, The Birds and the Bees with the occasional Dog... ;-)  I do tend to get a little obsessed with my subjects.  So, stay tuned for more bees in the months to come (I'm hoping anyway).
