Levitation - self portrait

When I bought my first DSLR and started taking pictures about tree years ago, I carried the camera with me as much as I could and I photographed everything I saw. Mostly events and parties, it was a good practice. Then I was fascinated by macro and nature. But the same story, I just took pictures. I really started to enjoy photography when I saw the picture before taking it. Even if it was just minutes or seconds before. But sometimes, a picture or a scene pops up in my head with now reason at all and then I'm obsessed with it. I don't rush to take it, I improve it in my mind ... and I only take it if I'm ready ... and then if I get it right, just as I had imagined it ... that's photography to me.

This picture was trapped in my busy little head for three weeks and with several attempts I finally got it ... just as I imagined it.
