Storm Clouds Over Muttonbird Island

This foto is taken from the jetty looking towards Muttonbird Island, which is accessible from the north wall of the harbour. From August to April each year it is home to shearwaters (colloquially known as muttonbirds because of their taste-apparently early settlers used to eat them). They nest in burrows on the island and are protected. There is a well constructed track that walkers are requested to keep to but the birds are easy to see. You can walk right over the island to the open sea where it is quite wild. First in a line of scenes for Lemmy. Hope you like it.
