A not so short stroll

By dint of the non-existence on the ground of certain paths extant on the map, the short stroll I had planned extended to an almost 10km walk. That said the scenery was stunning with yellow genet everywhere..
The scrub was full of skulking Sylvia warblers desperately trying to hide but some success was had in getting them to show by playing their song back at them.. Vultures overheard always provide a bit of entertainment.,
Cloudless to start the walk, over the time the clouds built up with the odd drop of rain but we escaped the larger squalls that circled around us on occasion. Even managed a picnic.
