Cherish the May

Another extremely wet day. I swear everything has grown about a foot over the last few days - rampant with sedges, buttercups, and pink campion. The hawthorn or May is just coming out too, struggling a bit in the damp.

It had eased off a bit by 5.30 when we rushed out for a yomp around the circuit. Two damp foxes appeared too and much gnashing of teeth and muttering ensued.
