Seal?

It looks like a seal from its rear end!
This is the larval grub of a Cockchafer. C found it under the soil when he was digging out another flower bed today (we had no flower beds when we moved in, so "we" (C) are having to dig them all. 
Although it's my contribution for Tiny Tuesday, it was actually quite large (about 2" long, and as thick as one of my fingers).
