Odemira to Sao Luis

I have to confess I did not walk this whole section.   My feet were too painful  - this is the longest section (25km) and the next section, which would be our last, was described as the toughest section, so I decided to have an easy day,

Having said that, I walked with Ian for the first few km, then took a taxi to S. Luis and after checking into the hotel there, walked back to meet him.

Again the flowers along the path were just stunning.  SW Portugal had a wet spring which has helped the floral displays.

The hotel in S Luis was another lovely place to stay - very welcoming and helpful staff, and in the evening we attended a private Fado rehearsal.
