Catching the Sun
Another busy day - had to go with Alan to drop the Mercedes off for it's MOT so that I could bring him back, then packed my case before heading into town with Mum. The good news is that the car passed its MOT.
We'd bought mum a Marks and Spencer gift card for her birthday so she wanted to go and spend it, and I also had a voucher, so we spent a while in there and I ended up losing her! I'd gone to get Alan some new socks, on the same floor as where mum was looking for a skirt and I wasn't long, but there was no sign of her. I wandered up and down, decided to pay for my things and still couldn't see her, so I went downstairs thinking she must have gone back down, but she wasn't there. I went back upstairs and then spotted her in the men's department looking for me - it turns out she was in the changing room, I hadn't thought of looking there lol! Panic over, we had lunch in the cafe before I left her to go to work.
I had my fourth session of acupuncture which Annabel seems to think is helping, and I've still got another two paid for by work which is great.
It's been a funny day weather wise today, it's been hot, then stormy - Alan said there'd been torrential rain and hailstone at home, yet there was nothing in Hove although there had been thunder in the distance. By the time Alan picked me up, it was a lovely night and still very warm with a nice sunset, so we stopped so I could get some photos. Where we had parked there were a couple of Partridges at the side of the road - they weren't bothered by us at all and I took some photos of them, but after two days of bird blips, tonight you have the sunset!
Anyway, I need to go an rearrange my packing and then I'm off to bed as we have to leave at 6am tomorrow.
