Before putting our new patio furniture on the patio, we decided we should pressure wash the patio first. The patio is shaded by an oak tree, and gets dirty quite quickly, so needs to be cleaned at least two or three times a year. As you can see, the pressure washer makes quite a difference! While I was cleaning the patio, Roger was assembling the table and chairs in the garage.
In the evening we treated ourselves to “dinner and a movie” at the Mariemont theatre, with dinner beforehand at the Quarter Bistrot next door. They have a lovely outside seating area, but unfortunately the weather was rather unsettled, so we played it safe and ate inside, which has lovely French-inspired decor. The food was great. The film was one we had seen the trailer to the last time we were there - Itzak - a documentary film about the renowned violinist Itzak Perlmann, which was very good. We sometimes wonder how this independent cinema stays in business - admittedly it was mid week and a film of somewhat limited appeal, but we had a private showing!
