A market without live things flip-flopping

I don't see many markets without live things flip-flopping in Bangkok, so this farmer's market was a welcome sight. I was surprised that there are still farmer's markets in Southern California, but maybe I shouldn't have been. It was smaller than the summer markets but still had plenty of delicious fruits and veggies.

These peanuts were cold and damp, like they were just dug up recently. One vendor sold a lot of the Asian veggies I'm familiar with like mini, green eggplants and bitter melon. A delicious selection!
