Aaaw, aren't they cute?
Instead of taking Murdoch for his usual walk this morning I took him on a slow and easy run - his whole life he has run with Gavin, but now that he is older he doesn't take him anymore. However today I just felt like running rather than walking so off we went, and I ran very slowly and stopped whenever he wanted to stop. He did very well and seemed to enjoy it - there is plenty of life in the old dog yet, as our vet says! (He is not that old - 11,5 years old)
I went back to Kingston today - the drinking glasses I bought last week had to be changed as when I got them home I decided I did not like them - plus I had some other stuff to do. I was delighted to see the opera singing busker again, and this time I got his card as I may want to hire him one day...
On the way home I drove through Bushy Park and as I got there the swan family were swimming down the little canal with their seven babies, one of them on mum's back. They got out the water and seemed to be posing for the small group of people watching them - they were fine with us humans but the moment a goose came anywhere close they were seen off very quickly! I have also added an extra, I love it when they try to flap those tiny little wings.
I am off to our camera group meeting tonight, we are still continuing with our topic of food photography and next month we are going to a restaurant where a chef is allowing us to take photos of his food preparation.
