The simple things in life

A day doing mindless things like clearing cupboards in preparation for the house move, sorting through books (boxes and boxes of books to the charity shop), playing around with daisies and my 50mm lens at a very wide aperture...and all the while I was carrying on with my insignificant day there are people out there heart broken and numb with pain at the loss of their loved ones in the senseless terrorist bombing in Manchester last night. An absolute tragedy and a disgusting act of terrorism.

In other news, to his surprise, Gavin found Nigel Farage a highly entertaining and funny guest speaker at an investment day he attended. He was an extremely competent speaker and said he spoke such sense....whaaat?! The mind boggles...
