Where's Tony?
A smashing day today weatherwise. We set off on the bikes with the idea of riding around to the other side of River Findhorn to view the village from Culbin Forest. I wimped out a couple of miles down the road (tender behind!) and pedalled back, picked up a takeaway coffee from the excellent Bakehouse Cafe then grabbed my camera and wandered around the harbour and along the beach. I was watching out for Tony appearing across the river mouth. It's so narrow here you could swim across but the currents make that inadvisable.
I continued around the spit, keeping an eye out for seals on the sandbanks, but there were none sadly, then blipped the new beach huts from all sorts of angles before walking back across the sand dunes to the cottage.
A light lunch and a long sit in the garden reading, then Tony was back having enjoyed cycling the Culbin trails.
