Canal walk

Today I met up with an old school friend. We’ve been Facebook friends for a while, but never managed to meet up. When she posted up a fortnight of walks in The National Forest Walking Festival, I said I was interested, so we got together in a local village and tagged along for the walk.

I have to say, when they said “ we’re doing the canal walk “, I was expecting it to be very tranquil. However, the A38 runs alongside it, so it was a bit less tranquil but still very lovely.
