There are days when I have to pinch myself at how lucky I am in my chosen career. This was one of them. It was spent driving a five litre V8 Ford Mustang to Santa Pod drag racing strip, switching on the car’s track mode for a scorching run up the strip on full throttle, then more time on the road in the Mustang. There are worse ways to spend a working day!
