The stretch......

.....such a long torso and neck stretching out and a lot of flapping going on as well, bet it felt good!

Down at the lakes again really trying to get my bird shots sorted. Thought it would be good to start on a larger bird and was thrilled when this black swan decided to stretch out and flap it's wings after large amounts of preening. My extra's are the before and after the main blip.

Thursday.....freezing in the wind at the lake, rippled waters and lots of ducks and coots on edge as it's ducking shooting season, at least they're safe on these waters.

Must fly, tea to cook - Teriyaki salmon, stir fry veges and rice, delish!
