Champagne anyone?
So I read champagne. One track mind. It so happens we cracked a bottle tonight. A lovely client fellow survivor told me they made it a ritual after chemotherapy 1 down..5 to go.
I cannot rate the care given at ARI highly enough. Lovely young nurses, full of humour, efficiently hooked up. Everything explained to the letter. And. Get this. Movie and popcorn. The Greatest Showman, whilst my nails are manicured. Ice-cream, fresh fruit salad, and tea and biscuits.
Not just for me, for my chemo buddy husband too!! He is planning a half day every time now! I should point out its the Friends of the Anchor Unit who provide those extra touches..free buff turban too. Spoiled.
Feel well. Have taken the champagne tablets for nausea. Too late once you feel sick so not risking it. Cooked delicious Thai salad with salmon steaks
Evening walk with the dog.. Now an early night with emergency bucket just in case!! I never suffered with morning sickness so my oncologist reckons I might get away with it. Fingers crossed. Pretty pink nail ones!!
