Ducks sake!!

We had the most glorious sunny day. Met up with mum and her friend, and said friend even had a paddle. These two were more interested in the ducks that were tormenting them in the distance.

So chemo day plus one, disjointed nights sleep. Steroid effect according to the nurse. Only four days. Managed into work for a few hours. Was really nice. Nothing strenuous so I think I am going to enjoy my new role. They have sorted it so I do a few hours each day. Means I don't have to find someone to open up if I am unwell. Came home at the same time as my husband. Which is unheard of but really nice. Pasta dinner. Tasted unusual. Chemo effect, everything tastes slightly different than before. Might start experimenting with different recipes, won't be comparing things so much. The champagne tablets are working, no nausea..but didn't fancy the actual champagne tonight!
