Welcome rain

Flower Friday again, and this delightful candelabra primrose is flowering for the first time.

My dear friend K gave me a cutting last year.
It came originally from an estate in Scotland, where we spent a very happy holiday with. A and K eleven years ago.
Unfortunately the estate is now up for sale, and so the holiday cottage may not be for rent any more.

A couple of months ago I never thought I would say this, but the rain today has been very welcome as the garden was so dry.
It will save me a job tonight.
Just hope the sun returns for the Bank Holiday weekend.
