Playing at the Coquet

Ella's other granny and her husband very kindly had the children this morning and drove them out to us for the weekend.

After they had lunch we took them (Ella and Nathaniel) to the river to play. The sandy place their mum and aunties used to play no longer exists but they were happy to play in the stones and when it rained, under the bridge. Not that it mattered about the rain as Nathaniel has stripped off totally.

They both ate adult portions of grilled salmon plus potatoes but were not so keen on the cavelo nero. They had a sugar high with pudding - strawberries and ice cream and rasp couli.

Now they have made a den with an upturned chair and are showing it to their parents on FaceTime .
