Daredevils

I haven't been out for a sunrise in a long time.  Considering it rises about 6.45 am these days there is really no excuse not to be out and about at that time.

There was a huge swell and the waves are still ginormous.  This daredevils is just watching and waiting until it was safe to paddle out.  He and his mate made it but two guys that came a bit later got swept well out to the North and had a lot of hard paddling to do before they made it out.

The other daredevils are three chaps who were having a morning wallow in the baths.  The waves breaking into them washed one of them out of the baths but he stood up and jumped back in again.  Really these big swells do bring out some crazy people.

Poppy and I visited and she did OK but needs quite a bit of practice.  I might need to start taking her more often but then Hamish will be out of sorts won't he.
