When the sun came out

A grey and very early start to the day in Ostend. I did not have to be team manager after all, someone from Merksem was. That meant I was able to get away from the pool for a while. Very quiet on the boulevard still as the sun only just made it through the clouds/fog. Pippa did well in the pool, a personal best on the breaststroke, nearly missing the 100m butterfly final and a PB on the 200m individual medley. Unfortunately the officials were not familiar with the turn between the backstroke and breaststroke Pippa and her team are now making (officially recognised by FINA) and they were all disqualified.
