The King of Hastings

We and our guest decided to head for the beach earlier rather than later...we piled into the car and drove off into a most beautiful day.

It felt like ages since being down by the water and it was lovely to walk along the headland snapping away. Jaiya is doing photography at college now and is having difficulty...it was nice to pass on some knowledge of how the camera works...whilst we were doing that Holly and Flynn went down to the waters edge to collect treasure. They came back and pinched all my doggie bags to put their findings in.

For some reason the rocks looked awesome and even though I could of (and did) take pics of them on their own I couldn't help but post  this one that features the Beetle.
I had to post an extra of Jaiya and Beetle.......just to show how high that little dog jumps...its like he has springs on his feet...and BOING he is  nearly at chest level....which gets even higher when treats are involved.

Dinner is nearly ready...we are having a roast....I found some pre cooked Yorkshire puds at the supermarket...I got excited...you can take the girl out of the UK but you cant take the UK out of the girl.
