Wild, windy and wet..........

..........describes our weekend here in the wild west.  

100km/hr winds, more than 50 fires further south, drenching rain - never a dull moment!! 

Doyley22, another friend and I went to the beach this afternoon to enjoy the wind and waves. We weren't disappointed, managing to dodge a few fronts that came through in the couple of hours we were there. 

As I had over 300 images to edit I felt I needed to add some in extras. Have a peek.  There was a lovely Indian gentleman who came to the steps that lead to the water (the beach has gone), said a prayer and dropped some red flowers into the water. I wondered about the story behind this gentle gesture.
