Hot and Humid

An amazing lightening show last night in the skies for a couple of hours with no thunder or rain - very bizarre but fabulous to watch!

So we've had another hot and humid day today but I did manage to get the hanging baskets emptied and replanted in a shady spot so glad that job is now off the list!

The roses seem to have responded well to the weird winter weather! All are blooming well - apart from one! Trying to work out what has gone wrong with that one!

Managed to finish a good book this afternoon while recovering - The Parentations by Kate Mayfield - an interesting historical book about immortality! Who wants to live forever?!
