Not interested

Another hot day. Two May Bank Holidays when the weather has been amazing and summery. This must be a record. The very impressive storm last night that lasted a few hours and the heavy rain that accompanied it was just a memory this morning. Long may this sunny weather continue.

Spent today at home with a list of jobs that were all ticked off by mid afternoon. I was watching the chickens and saw little Ginger Rogers making herself a dustbath. Along came one of the cockerals, coxcomb bristling, and performed a dance for her benefit. She looked up at him , ruffled her feathers and walked off with a noncholant backward glance. He was left standing there a bit bewildered.

Tomorrow is another Bank Holiday and we are promised good weather so a long walk with friends is planned and a stop at a very quirky pub.
