Looking at the weather forecast, I think I'm going to be needing these over the next few days - or perhaps I should get out my wellingtons?

We stood outside this evening watching the most fantastic natural light display.  It was almost dark, but there was still an appreciable amount of light in the sky.  The sky above us was clear, and the moon was shining bright, but in the distance there was a wall of grey cloud.  In the cloud there were frequent, dramatic forks of lightning and, every so often, a flash which backlit a cloud shape within the wall of grey.  It was quite beautiful and very eery - because there was no noise at all.

A free and wonderful light display, better than anything man-made.
