2018 Monday— Memorial Day

We’ve been so busy today that I didn’t take a photo, so I was thrilled to see these photos our granddaughter Desiree posted on Facebook of hubby Justin and Tristan, our great-grandson. They obviously are having a lot of fun.

We spent this day moving. The past 2 weeks and the past 3 weekends we have sorted and packed and moved our things 1.5 miles. It feels like we’ve moved half way around the world . . . from 2800 sq. ft. to 1100 sq. ft. and we are beyond exhausted!

We thought we were leaving a lot of stuff behind for the moving sale, but this little house feels stuffed full. So I’ve got to get tough and deliberate and take some things back to be sold.

The transition is going to be enormous. The master bathroom at our former house was bigger than any one of the bedrooms here at our new place. And the two bathrooms here are winky-dinky. We lived in this house before, for 28 years. Seems like we should be able to do it again!

At least we’re gonna try to!
