Poppy Baby

My poppies are beautiful this year, but I really want to take all the pictures of my baby animals before they are full grown ... So baby mouse on a poppy it is :)

Babies (ducklings and mouslings) are all doing well. One of the mouse baby's eyes half opened today, yay! I need to get them a new cage, the box they are in currently isn't going to contain them for much longer and they are sharing the brooding pool the littlest ducks are in. Definitely don't want them co-mingling!

I got a little gardening done this evening as well - I happened to find an asparagus that the previous owner must have planted, so I planted my new asparagus next to it. I also put in a bunch of sweet potato slips - yum! I hope they actually come in! Now if I only didn't have a job and I could get some sleep <3
