Peek at the World

Mouslings are starting to open their eyes. The most robust of the babies here is giving a good stare.
Babies have been named (from left to right):
Eloise (stands for healing, she is the baby that had the big gash on her shoulder. She seems to be living up to her name :)
Uther (big boy)
Zane (slighter boy)
My sister named them after the tent they were found in (and ultimately killed their mom and 1 sibling :( ) - Ez Up. I thought it was a good idea :) 
The babies' fur looks gross in this photo because I had just fed them and they never fail to get it everywhere (Uther was first and managed to clean himself up a bit). They had a bath once we got inside.

While we were heading out for a walk with the pups this evening, there was a painted turtle next to our carport. Loki and Corra were very excited and were sniffing enthusiastically ... Loki started stomping the ground so we got him out of there. Looks like this turtle had been trying to dig a hole to lay some eggs! Hopefully she wasn't too disturbed by my hellions ... she was hiding or digging again next to our car port a little later. Would be amazing to see them hatch!
