For those who have wondered where our meanderings have been taking us we are back in Alaska or should I say up in Alaska?

We headed straight up to Fairbanks with a stop in Talkeetna Monday night. We are staying 3 nights here before heading into the Denali National Park on Friday.

Apart from looking for moose today we visited the excellent motor museum where 70 stunning cars from 1900 to 1936 are on show. A nice touch was the number of ladies outfits from the same period.

The little car is a 1914 Woods Mobilette. Extras when buying this $380 car were the roof and windscreen at $15 and brakes at $10..! The larger one is a 1912 Peerless and cost $5000.
