Perfect Day
We all managed a pretty good nights sleep despite the church bells and the dawn chorus. Porridge, eggy bread, bacon and beans set us up for the day. Thankfully there was an improvement in the weather from yesterday and the sun soon started to warm us on our walk from Grassington to Burnsall. We picniced by the river and the children paddled before heading up river to Loup Scar for a swim, another place ticked off my wild swim list, will certainly be back though.
Back at the campsite and then on to the pub for my sister and I, I owed her a pint for joining me in the river, then back to BBQ and our favourite camping activity of gymnastics. We were rather out shone by our 14 year old back flipping neighbour in that department but we had fun all the same!
