Poppies

These are the poppies in the rather spectacular Weeping Window display at Carlisle Castle. Admission was free and it was half-term so the castle was packed with children but everyone seemed to be enjoying it.
Have a look at the extras - a cheeky bird and a cheeky bit of advertising for the organisation which indirectly (she actually works for Historic England) pays our daughter. In fact I didn't originally mean to have the sign....but I decided to leave it in!
