Boat Trip - backblip

Sunday 27th

Together with our usual sunshine there was a keen breese blowing today which made our boat trip on a 12 seater rib round Lismore Island and Castle Stalker, which is the view from our caravan site, a little more exciting especially when Alistair, our Skipper, went full speed over the open water and we felt the spray! Alistair regaled us with lots of interesting local history but was sorry that there hadn't been much wildlife to see apart from one seal and a Cormorant. Still we had a great time and it was good to be up so close to our daily view.

In the evening we had a BBQ with our lovely neighbours, John and Kathryn.
