Rock Doves in flight

First day on Islay, forecast wasn't great, reality was dull and drizzly, so we drove round in the mobile hide. Round by Bowmore a large flock of Barnacle Geese contained four large Canada Geese which had the characteristics of Todd's Canada Geese and two smaller Canada Geese which going on reports were Richardson's Canada Geese, but to be honest the conditions weren't good enough to make out the identifying features.

Coming back round Loch Indaal RCB got some nice shots of Pale-bellied Brent Geese. Then down at Bruichladdich at the end of the pier were a flock Rock Doves. I braved the drizzle and got out of the car telling Mrs L I'd try and get a closer shot, they'll not fly off in these conditions - wrong!
