Introducing...

... my charges for the next week: Basset hounds Matilda and Maisie, collie Ben and Jack Russell Ruby.

After a noisy welcome from Matilda we all settled down and I settled in. So far so good :-)

I think I was wrong to say this is a sheep farm. There's no sign of any sheep in the fields, but there are  cattle and in the house there are several photos of award-winning Belted Galloways.

Whatever happened to the threatened thunderstorms, they haven't come our way. Yet.
