Desperate Dan and His Lordship

You can take a boy out of Dundee but you can’t take Dundee out of a boy.
We travelled up to Dundee today by Gold Bus (coffee and cake on the way up and Irn Bru (sugar free!) on the way back) to have lunch with an old family friend of His Lordship.
It felt right to blip HL beside Desperate Dan of Dandy fan. According to the Lonely Planet Guide Book, Dundee is now the place to visit in Great Britain. Who would have ‘thunk ‘ it!

The new V&A Gallery is more or less complete and stands beside the famous old ship The Discovery. I have added them as extra images.
