Last day

I have finally reached my last day after working my three month notice period. Its been a long road to travel since I made my decision a few days after the Olympic Opening Ceremony. I've always trusted my instincts and the longer the time has gone on the more I've known its the right choice. Its been a busy day ensuring I've tied up loose ends, finished handover and sent thank you emails to people. I've been really touched by all the phonecalls and emails I've had from all over the company.

I will really miss working with my office buddy Jude as we have seen each other through a lot but I know we'll stay in touch. I managed to get everything done on time so we could have some yummy cakes that Jude had bought before heading to the pub. I met the rest of the gang at the Cittie of Yorke and it was so nice to be surrounded by all of the people I've enjoyed working with. After drinks we decided to go for a curry with Anne, Gareth, Charlie and Jude which was a great way to finish a really great evening and the closing of another chapter. I'm just so excited about the next chapter starting!
