Royal..

Britannia..... the Queens yacht.

A bus ride out to the RYB, and what a superb visit it was too. To see where our current Queen would spend many happy times enjoying private time with her family as well as using the yacht to entertain important guests. We enjoyed a scrumptious lunch in the Royal Deck tea room before finishing our tour.

Next stop was Holyrood Palace, where the Queen stays en route to Balmoral and hosts annual garden parties as well as doing her ‘knighting’ duties. The old apartments we saw were quite dark and dimly lit ~ not as enjoyable as the yacht.

A cloudy day but it did stay dry.
