Brisa

Those of you who followed me previously will undoubtedly remember our beautiful Brisa.
She became a bit of a star with her mischief-making (remember the duck-pond incident?), doleful expressions, action shots and general overwhelming cuteness.
She was my Emergency 11.59pm Blip on many occasions.

Sadly, Brisa has Lymphoma.
She is receiving chemotherapy but is struggling.
Her blood counts are low and her chemotherapy has had to be altered to allow her to recover.
She is still wagging her tail and looking for snuggles. She just doesn't want to chase the deer, or roll in disgusting stuff or run too far.

Quite simply, a 1 in a million mutt with a heart of gold and the sweetest temperament. With her little side-kick Paddy she has warmed the hearts of everyone who meets her and given our children the best childhood shared with a canine companion.
No-one should EVER underestimate the pet-human bond.
Yes, she is only a dog, but she is our dog and she has given us so much in return for very little indeed...
