Blue Poppies

The blue poppies have put in an appearance at last - they are rather late this year, I think.

I bought a couple of presents for my neice and her fiancé this morning - its their wedding in a 2 weeks time - and a sun hat with a big broad rim (hope I get chance to wear it now). Afterwards we had coffee with Mr and Mrs Puke and a couple of other friends who happened to turn up at the same time. This afternoon I had to go down to Galashiels to attend a meeting which fortunately didn’t last as long as I had expected.
