Ness o Burgi

The mist lifted and a lovely sunny day, warm too.  The mist came down further south and misty on the hills tonight.  

Up early and headed over to mam's for a walk after breakfast.  After a cuppa, a walk about mam's and chatted with various folk along the way.  In the afternoon, we headed south for a run, met Bro Jonny along the way.  A quiet evening in the caravan, and then off to meet friends later.

One of the afternoon walks was here.  This is the doorway to a 2000 year old block house, from the Iron Age.  Built around the same time as the brochs, and very little known about it's use.  Taken at the Ness of Burgi, Sumburgh.
