Oxford Pride
It was the Oxford Blipmeet today efficiently organised by Arachne, in the company of Tivoli, Mariainwales, Fionamuddyfox, Woodleywise, Spotsintime, Landscapeartist, Taffydill, and Fitzbilly. We walked a very long way but saw some really interesting parts of Oxford - crowded and uncrowded.
It was the Gay Pride March day today and there were some wonderfully colourful sights around, including the young lady in my Blip.
We walked down part of the Oxford Canal where the creature (Damselfly?) in the extras was disporting him or herself. We stopped for a Blippers picture taken as a reflection by Fiona, which I am looking forward to seeing and SHH and I decided to have a go at out own shot (See extras). The reflections were such that we didn't realise that the rest of the Blipgroup were in the background inspecting Fiona's shot at the same time...
We had a bit of an upset when we got back to the railway station to discover that all the trains to the park and ride at Oxford Parkway had been cancelled due to signalling problems so we had to wait for a bus to take us there along with quite a lot of other folk. We got there eventually!
Big thanks to Arachne for looking after us so well and showing us such interesting things. Good to meet up with such a varied group of Blippers too!
