2018 Friday — Farmers Market

One of our favorite Friday events on California’s Central Coast is the Farmers Market in Cambria. The ocean air, the colorful produce, and the friendly vendors cause this to be a wonderful experience. Because we haven’t been at this market since the first Friday in April, it felt extra special today.

Possibly we’ll get to be here next Friday also because we plan to drive-up early, very early, that morning. Graduation at the college where I teach will be Thursday evening and then I will be done with teaching for the summer.

We’ll still have business to do in southern California because the escrow on our home will be closing mid-month. So we’ll go back there on Tuesday, June 12th, and probably stay a week before returning here for the length of the summer.

But for this Friday, being in Cambria is pure delight. After the Farmers Market we drove north several miles to walk the pups on the sand at San Simeon Cove with the Hearst Castle visible in the hills behind us. Gosh it is good to be on the Central Coast!
