What a magnificent bird! This was a rooster my sister hatched in February this year and we ate him today! Celebrated with a bottle of bubbly :)

Guillaume (who killed the bird), his wife Reine and their two kids came to lunch at Carrie's and we all had a feast. Guillaume ate the head and various other bits; Reine and William ate a foot and a leg each...the rest of us Irish lot were a bit more hesitant, although I do think I had something that resembled a testicle on my plate! We had green salad to start, cheese with pate de coings and then 3 desserts!

Also helped to sort lavender bunches out for Caroline and Paddy for the Christmas market.
