NGS Festival Weekend - Galesyke

We had heard about the National l Garden Scheme last year at a talk and wanted to visit some of the gardens this year.  Today we went to Galesyke near Santon Bridge in the Western Lakes.

Beautiful gardens - mainly woodland with many different types of rhododendrons,  hydrangeas, and azaleas - extending for about 4 acres.

From here we headed up to Wastwater (see extras).  Lots of people out enjoying the weather.  Home via Birker Fell.
