Monday: Pink

My boss from Ottawa has arrived for a visit so it was out to the airport to pick her up this afternoon.  She actually flew in from London this so was pretty exhausted and didn't feel like doing too much tonight.

Luckily we had established that beforehand as K. and I arranged to take Maria, our sometime catsitter, out for dinner.  We've been trying to arrange it for ages to say thank you for the way she went above and beyond with Fred earlier in the year.  She basically kept him going, putting him on drips etc when we were away, and it was because of her that we could still see him when we got back.  

We had a great time at 'West' on Granville and it was nice to be able to say thank you finally.

This isn't the restaurant, you'll be pleased to know but a random pink building opposite.
